TAMPA, FL, USA, 15 July 2005 – ISPE, a global not-for-profit Society of pharmaceutical manufacturing professionals, has announced the opening of an office in Singapore to serve Members and local Affiliates in the Asia Pacific region. The Asia Pacific office joins ISPE’s European office in Brussels, Belgium and global headquarters in Tampa, Florida.
The Asia Pacific office will provide support to ISPE Australasia, Japan, Singapore, India, and Thailand Affiliates as they develop their local activities, and will assist with ISPE’s outreach to regulatory and academic institutions in the region. The Asia Pacific staff will also focus on increasing regional exposure through ISPE’s communication network including Pharmaceutical Engineering magazine, ISPEAK newsletter, and the ISPE Web site. ISPE’s regional e-newsletters will be expanded to include the Asia Pacific Informer.
With the addition of the new team in the Asia Pacific office, ISPE has added a time zone to its customer service capabilities. Now, Members from anywhere in the world can reach an open ISPE office. Members can call with questions about membership, technical publications, and registrations to training events and conferences all within their own time zones. The Asia Pacific customer service staff is able to communicate with Members in Japanese, Malay, Mandarin, Indonesian, and English.
