Nanopac Malaysia to establish R&D facility

July 21, 2005 — Nanopac Malaysia plans to invest $2.1 million to establish Malaysia’s first nanotechnology research and development facility and plant. The facility will produce an estimated 500 to 1000 tons of nanosolutions, a proprietary Nanopac product which can kill bacteria, germs, viruses, and biological toxic gases.

Nanopac Malaysia, established in 2003, is a joint venture between a Malaysian party and South Korea-based Nanopac. Under the joint-venture agreement, Nanopac (Korea) will transfer their nanotechnologies to Nanopac Malaysia.
