Raymor secures thermal spray contract

July 6, 2005 — Raymor Industries Inc. of Montreal announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, AP&C Advanced Powders & Coatings Inc. received a contract from DK Machine for its metal and ceramic thermal spray coating services. DK Machine is a manufacturer of ball valves for applications requiring high-end coatings.

AP&C offers services for military, aerospace, aeronautical and specialized industrial sectors, including atmospheric plasma spraying, high velocity oxyfuel, and vacuum plasma spraying. The company says it is in the qualification process to be an approved supplier for other customers.
