Texas nano group appoints Yaniv to exec committee

July 22, 2005 — The Texas Nanotechnology Initiative announced the appointment of Zvi Yaniv to its executive committee and board of directors. He will participate in promoting the commercialization and growth of nanotechnology products and research across the state.

Yaniv is currently the CEO of Applied Nanotech, Inc. (ANI) in Austin and is focused on guiding ANI in particular in the display industry where it is working on the use of electron field emission from diamond-carbon films.

He joins executive committee and board members Kelly Kordzik, Wade Adams, Jim von Ehr, Randy Bell, and Bob Gower.
