Combimatrix names Greer advisor

Aug. 1, 2005 — Acacia Research Corp. (Nasdaq: CBMX); Nasdaq: ACTG) announced that Scott Greer has joined CombiMatrix as an advisor.

Greer is managing director of Numenor Ventures LLC, an investor in and provider of advisory services to life science companies. He is a also founder and chairman of Abgenix Inc., a biopharma company.

Amit Kumar, CombiMatrix president and CEO, said Greer’s contacts and experience in the life science sector and the financial community would be particularly valuable to the company.
