Entegris and Mykrolis are officially ‘hitched’

August 8, 2005 – Entegris Inc., Chaska, MN, and Mykrolis Corp., Billerica, MA, have announced that their merger was completed this past weekend, creating one ISO 9001-certified materials integrity management corporation named Entegris. The companies combine more than 70 years of experience in providing technologies, products, and services to the semiconductor, data storage, life sciences, and fuel-cell fields. Former Mykrolis CEO Gideon Argov has been named as the new Entegris CEO, with former Entegris CEO Jim Dauwalter as the nonexecutive chairman of the board, as reported in previous company statements. The merged Entegris has approximately 2700 employees worldwide and will have annual sales of more than $650 million.
