BETHESDA, Md. – The Parenteral Drug Association (PDA; www.pda.org) is partnering with third-party pharmaceutical supply chain operations auditor SynTegra LLC (www.syntegrallc.com) to streamline and manage the association’s virtual Audit Resource Center.
The Web-based Resource Center is the successor to the virtual Audit Repository Center that was established five years ago to help the pharmaceutical industry meet audit requirements more efficiently and cost-effectively. The site is designed to benefit manufacturers and suppliers by serving as a clearinghouse for audit data and for standardizing the audit process.
SynTegra, a wholly owned subsidiary of Health Pathways Inc.-a company that seeks to improve the quality of healthcare information delivery and facilitate efficient clinical research and product development-provides operational, regulatory, and distribution management services. It plans to add new features to the Audit Resource Center site, including improved navigation and security, advanced search capability, and the option of either downloading audits securely from the Web site or obtaining them on CD-ROM.
