Microfabrica moves to larger production facility

VAN NUYS, Calif. – Increased customer demand has prompted Microfabrica (www.microfabrica.com), a leader in microdevice and microsystem fabrication, to move its factory and corporate headquarters from Burbank to a new facility in Van Nuys, Calif. At 39,300 square feet, the new site is nearly twice the size of the previous location.

The new facility contains a state-of-the-art, custom-built cleanroom. Although it serves the same functions as before-manufacturing the company’s unique brand of three-dimensional microdevices using Microfabrica’s proprietary process technology-the new manufacturing space is five times larger.

In a recent press release, Vacit Arat, president and CEO of Microfabrica, said: “We have significantly outgrown our previous facility as we go into production on multiple fronts. The new location will allow us to keep up with our rapid expansion and will house both the manufacturing and the headquarters in the foreseeable future.”
