RioMagic was developed around the concept of co-design and co-optimization, according to Kaushik Sheth, Rio’s CEO. Referred to as “disruptive technology”, this method separates the design of the chip from the package. Codesign enables more chips to be developed at low cost and time-to-market. The EDA tool uses a concurrent design methodology for chip, package, and system attributes.
