Barnes currently serves as chairman and CEO of San Jose, CA-based IC prober manufacturer Electroglas, and previously served as chairman and CEO of Oregon-based Integrated Measurement Systems (IMS), an Oregon-based company that Credence Systems Corp. acquired in 2001. He also served as a division president at Cadence Design Systems for the Prototype Verification Division, and at Valid Logic Systems, which Cadence later acquired.
