May 9, 2006 – Cohu Inc. has sold land and a facility in Littleton, MA, for $6.5 million in cash, for a pretax gain of approximately $3.0 million that will be recorded in its fiscal 2Q06. The majority of operations at the side had been consolidated into Cohu’s Delta Design subsidiary in Poway, CA, in 2003 and 2004.

Delta acquired certain semiconductor burn-in technology and assets from Unisys Corp.’s Unigen operation in March for $8.0 million, including a 10,000 sq. ft facility in Chandler, AZ.
