May 16, 2006 – LSI Logic Corp. has completed the sale of its 200mm facility in Gresham, OR, including equipment, to Semiconductor Components Industries LLC, the primary operating subsidiary of ON Semiconductor Corp. The $105 million agreement was announced on April 5.

ON Semi has already paid $90 million, with the balance due in the next 90 days. The facility, which includes 98,000 sq. ft of cleanroom space and has production capabilities of 18,000 wafers/month, widens ON Semi’s capabilities to submicron analog and digital power products utilizing 0.18-micron process technologies, and toolset capabilities down to 0.13 micron for future production needs.
