Group adds Nikon to growing portfolio licensee roster

June 14, 2006 – Alliacense says that Nikon Corp. has purchased a license to its Moore Microprocessor Patent portfolio, a group of patents covering a range of performance and design technologies in semiconductors. Other recent licensees of the portfolio include HP, Casio, Fujitsu, and Sony, as well as AMD and Intel. The patents, a collection of seven US patents and their European and Japanese counterparts concerning clocking and embedded technologies, is jointly held by TPL Group and public company Patriot Scientific.
