GDP Risky Forecaster for IC Industry

(August 21, 2006) SARATOGA, CA The U.S. gross domestic product (GDP), commonly thought to be a key indicator for semiconductor industry performance, has been questioned as a useful forecasting tool. Advanced Forecasting, a semiconductor forecasting house, found the GDP relevant during only five out of the sixteen years covered in its analysis.
