Henkel Acquires CSP-, BGA-oriented Accurus

(December 4, 2006) IRVINE, CA &#151 The electronics group of Henkel acquired Accurus Scientific Co. Ltd., based in Tainan, Taiwan. The manufacturer produces solder spheres and type 1 &#150 7 solder powders for advanced packaging and PCB assembly. Accurus will become a brand of Henkel, with leaded and lead-free solders.
