New ways to improve job performance through IEST at ESTECH 2007

February 22, 2007 — /IEST/ — ROLLING MEADOWS, IL — The Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST) announces ESTECH 2007, its 53rd annual technical meeting and exposition, will be held April 29-May 2, 2007 at the Indian Lakes Resort in Bloomingdale, Illinois (northwest suburban Chicago). The meeting will include tutorials, seminars, and working group meetings, as well as practical solutions in the state-of-the-art displays in the exhibition. Attendees can gain or improve job performance through certificates in coursework, find practical solutions through presentations on recent research, and discover products and services to increase efficiency.

Golfers can tee up with their colleagues, friends, and clients in this great networking opportunity at a golf outing on Sunday, April 29 at 1:00 p.m. Prizes will be awarded during the Presidential Welcome Reception.

A number of new tutorial certificate programs will be offered this year. For contamination control, a certificate in sterilization and one in consumables will be offered. For design, test, and evaluation/product reliability professionals, a new certificate program on advanced environmental testing will be given. Also new this year, tutorials on design characterization and critical cleaning challenges for high-value industrial applications.

This year, a special seminar presentation will be offered to contamination control professionals. USP 797: Compounding Sterile Pharmaceuticals will be presented by CleanRooms magazine and members of the 797 committee. This seminar and panel discussion will provide the latest information on these areas of contamination control implementation. Also new this year will be a seminar on risk assessment and disaster recovery. Design, test, and evaluation/product reliability professionals will have the opportunity to learn about chemical and biological defense in a new seminar. A special seminar on MIL-STD-810G and Wind Tunnel Tests will also be presented.
