Laminate, stainless-steel or plastic construction
Standard cleanroom pass-through cabinets manufactured by Clean Air Technology are available in custom sizes, from single-door (12” x 12” x 12”) to double-door (48” x 48” x 48”). The cabinet is made from waterproof core board with smooth, white laminate finish. Other cabinet materials, such as stainless steel and plastic, are also available. Work surfaces are either 304- or 316-grade, smooth stainless steel, and have 90-degree, rolled leading edges. Access doors are clear acrylic or polycarbonate (Lexan®) and feature self-closing hinges and magnetic latches. Magnetic or mechanical interlocks are available. All surfaces are non-snagging for easy cleaning and sanitizing.

Sealed, high-pressure laminate construction

CES Pass-Thrus and Cart-Thrus provide a simple and effective method for transferring materials between environmentally controlled areas. Standard features include sealed, high-pressure laminate construction; 1/2-inch Plexiglass doors; self-closing, adjustable, cabinet-style hinges; and a simple mechanical interlock that can be overridden if desired to temporarily allow both doors to be opened at once. Standard options include stainless-steel cladding, UV-filtering doors, all-Plexiglass construction, mounting hardware, electric interlocks, doors-open alarm, shelving, and interior lighting. These models resist chipping, cracking and warping, and mechanical interlocks are a standard option. Mitered, stainless-steel trim kits can be provided for easy and attractive installation. Standard sizes include 12” x 12” x 12”, 18” x 18” x 18”, and 24” x 24” x 24” as well as made-to-order sizes. Doors are constructed of stainless steel with a clear window insert for rigidity and durability. A single door on each side is standard, but double-door operation on wider models can be provided.
