Dongbu touts 130nm LCD diver library

May 31, 2007 – Dongbu HiTek Co., the merged entity of Dongbu Electronics and Dongbu Hannong Chemicals, says it has developed in-house a special design library for LCD driver IC devices using 130nm CMOS process technologies, which it says minimizes electromigration and cross-talk. The company developed a 130nm design library for image sensor processors earlier this year.

“Both of our internally developed libraries enable higher yields and better performance while accelerating time to market by up to six months,” stated Jae Song, EVP of marketing for Dongbu HiTek, which hopes the design libraries will open up new business from fabless companies designing for mobile and display applications.

Song noted 110nm versions should be available by 2008, adding optimization for higher integration and low-power consumption functions.
