Unisem Buys AIT

Unisem used both internal and external funds for the purchase, which will be final in July. AIT outputs about 4.5 to 5 million units monthly and provides design, assembly, test, failure analysis (FA), and electrical and thermal characterization of IC packages. The company generated $133.4 million revenue in fiscal year 2006, with a net income of $8.8 million.
