Regardless of the industry that you work in, if you have any responsibility at all for contamination control at your organization, and you can possibly be in Stuttgart, Germany from March 11-13 next year, you need to plan to attend the 2008 CleanRooms Europe Conference & Exhibition.

CleanRooms Europe-Stuttgart has long been a great venue for contamination control professionals in all disciplines to gather and learn about the latest technology and products available to them, but this year, the show will also incorporate for the first time a full comprehensive educational conference and training program.

All centered around the overall conference theme of “Cost & Energy Efficient Contamination Control,” the conference program will feature five different full-day program tracks focused on specific industry and application requirements as well as a general interest track on “Energy Efficient Design Techniques.” In addition to the already announced application-specific tracks looking at Solar Technology Manufacturing, Advanced Life Science Manufacturing, and Hospital Infection Control, two new special tracks have been added to the program targeting “Ultrapure Semiconductor Processes” and “Automotive Applications.”

Cleanrooms and controlled environments are an integral part of just about every major high-technology industry and, as such, they play a huge role not only in the profitability of individual companies and industries, but also in the total global goal of more efficient energy usage. The CleanRooms Europe conference planners appreciate this reality, as well as the fact that designing for energy efficiency is a complex and wide-ranging challenge involving not only initial structural design and efficient infrastructure services, but sophisticated control and monitoring systems, and operational procedures and protocols as well. This is why the entire conference program will revolve around this critical area, examining existing industry cleanroom and contamination control standards and how these can be best met with energy-efficient designs, as well as how new technologies and products can be applied cost-effectively.

Personnel education and training are also critical elements of any successful and cost-effective contamination control program, and this is why CleanRooms Europe will feature for the first time an intensive, full-day contamination control course program entitled “The Essentials of Contamination Control Technology.” Presented by world-renowned contamination control expert and instructor Dr. Hans Schicht, this popular course has become recognized as the de facto industry standard in comprehensive contamination control training. Registrants receive a certificate of recognition upon course completion.

All in all, CleanRooms Europe 2008-Stuttgart promises to be the number one hot spot once again for all things, and all people, related to contamination control. It’s not too early to start making sure your plans for next year include getting you there.
