Infotonics’ MEMS Facility Selects Eyelit’s Integrated MES and QM Software Suite

By catering to numerous corporations and universities, in collaboration with the State of New York, ITC has established itself as the premier manufacturer in the development and commercialization of innovative MEMS(micro-electromechanical systems) based photonic and microsystems technologies. Control and stability of newly defined processes and processing equipment is critical to the success of any new product development. Eyelit’s Manufacturing Execution System and Asset Management software packages will provide Infotonics with the informational data centers necessary to define, analyze and control the processes and products their customers are defining.

(November 9, 2007) TOKYO, Japan & ALBANY, NY — Tokyo Electron Ltd. (TEL) has become the first semiconductor supplier company to join SEMATECH’s 3D Interconnect Program, teaming with several leading chipmakers who are the program’s founding members. TEL’s agreement with SEMATECH, formalized at a recent signing ceremony in Tokyo, adds significant resources to SEMATECH’s effort aimed at evolving the traditional copper/low-k interconnect technology to three-dimensional chip stacking, including through-silicon vias (TSVs) as interconnects.
