(January 2, 2008) SAN JOSE, CA Worldwide sales of semiconductors rose to $23.1B in November, an increase of 2.3 percent from November 2006 when sales were $22.5B, the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) reported. Sales increased by 0.7 percent from the October sales of $22.9B. Year-to-date sales of $231B are 2.8 percent ahead of the $225B in sales for the like period of 2006.
