MEMS development/prototype service company, Silicon Resources, appoints director

May 15, 2008 — Silicon Resources LLC, a microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) development and prototype company based in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area, has appointed Christopher Campbell as Business Director. According to Frank DiPiazza, Founder and Technical Director of the company — a service provider for companies designing MEMS — said, “Chris has over 25 years experience with entrepreneurial organizations, including several successful start-ups. His unique skills will allow us to accelerate our forward momentum.”

“There are often critical gaps in the management of new MEMS concepts,” said Mr. Campbell. “Without specialized care, the process of moving to production can become needlessly time consuming and costly. The reason I’m with Silicon Resources is to help position us to fill those gaps in a pragmatic and affordable way. We are a ‘rapid-response’ service company… we like to think of ourselves as a personal extension of our customers’ development teams.”

Campbell said that given the untapped potential he sees to save MEMS device manufacturers time, money and lost opportunities, Silicon Resources is poised for significant growth over the next several years.

Silicon Resources LLC was founded in 2007 and has worked with MEMS clients throughout North America and Europe. For more information about the company and its MEMS device development and management services, visit www.siliconresources.net, or contact Chris Campbell, 248-912-8555.
