Standardization of Automotive MEMS Sensor Tests

Examples of typical automotive MEMS applications include tire pressure sensors, pressure sensors to activate airbags on impact, high g accelerometers to activate airbags, 3-axis low-g accelerometers to detect if the car is rolling over and to activate the right side airbag, yaw rate sensors for the navigation system or the electronic stabilizations program (ESP) controllers, and multiple others.
