September 26, 2008:Colibrys and the Avnet Electronics Marketing business region of Avnet Inc., announced Avnet will distribute Colibrys’ full line of motion sensors in North America, and expand Colibrys’ visibility and coverage here.

North America represents a large market for harsh environment (energy, military and aerospace) and safety-critical (industrial and instrumentation) motion sensors. Colibrys’ standard MS7000, MS8000 and recently announced MS9000 and VS9000 products will be available immediately through Avnet Electronics Marketing.

This new collaboration with Avnet allows Colibrys to accelerate access to major customers across various markets and to offer greater applications-specific support across all of North America.
