Green Earth’s G-Lube lubricating oil is ready for retail

September 17, 2008: Green Earth Technologies announced that its G-Lube lubricant penetrating oil, a green solution for freeing sticky mechanisms and unlocking frozen parts, is now available. The multi-purpose, multi-surface, patent-pending lubricant penetrating oil is made with American-grown base oils and uses the power of nanotechnology to deliver a product that meets the standard “Ultimate Biodegradable,” ASTM’s highest biodegradability ranking (2.1 ASTM D-5864). The “no-squeak” G-Lube lubricates and cleans while driving out moisture and protecting against rust and corrosion.

As well as achieving the “Ultimate Biodegradable” rating, in recent testing G-Lube was comparable on all performance criteria and was better than the leading brand when it came to the properties of “green,” the company claims. G-Lube has replaced the traditional propellants (CO2 & propane) with food-grade nitrogen which is non-toxic, non-flammable, and environmentally friendly.

“We are excited to enter the billion-dollar penetrating oil market that today is serviced by a handful of products that are minor variations of the similar old formulas,” said Jeff Marshall, CEO of Green Earth Technologies, in a statement. “G-Lube is unique because we start with an “Ultimate Biodegradable” base oil that has superb lubricating, cleansing and penetrating qualities and then we add the components to displace moisture and fight corrosion and rust. Not only is the product environmentally safe and better for the health of the user compared to the competition, but the end result is a product that is superior in cost and performance.”
