Weighing less than a golf ball at 36 grams, the G-CORE Mini Caddy is one of the smallest and lightest handheld GPS devices and incorporates a 1.2-inch bichrome mirasol display. The Mini Caddy identifies pre-loaded golf courses using GPS-enabled search modes when in range, giving users a competitive advantage while on the course. The device will provide information on the outline of fairways at the push of a button, including details on overall course conditions and the locations of bunkers and hazards. Users will be able to download map data freely on to the Mini Caddy’s 1GB of internal memory with information on more than 25,000 golf courses worldwide.
January 8, 2009: NanoBioNexus, a nonprofit nanobiotechnology industry organization, is expanding its scope beyond life sciences and will change its name to NanoTecNexus (NTN), the group announced in a news release.
