Gigaphoton opens litho laser training center, regional HQ in OR

March 22, 2012 — Lithography light source maker Gigaphoton Inc. opened its new U.S. Regional Headquarters and Training Center in Beaverton, OR.

The new facility includes US management, logistics, and a training facility. It complements Gigaphoton USA’s technical support center in Austin, TX, opened in December 2010. Since its foundation in 2008, Gigaphoton USA has increased its laser installed bases more than 10 times.

“This expansion allows consolidation of all management and logistical operations as well as operation and maintenance training capabilities for both single- and dual-chamber lasers in one location,” said Gigaphoton President and CEO Dr. Yuji Watanabe.
