Avantor Performance Materials names Jean-Paul Mangeolle to Board of Directors

Avantor Performance Materials, a global manufacturer and supplier of high-performance chemistries, announces the appointment of Jean-Paul Mangeolle to its Board of Directors.

Avantor-Jean-Paul-MangeolleMangeolle’s extensive experience includes a long career with Millipore, a global supplier of materials for the life science industry. Mangeolle served in various executive leadership roles within Millipore prior to and following its acquisition by Merck KGaA, Darmstadt. Most recently, Mangeolle oversaw Merck Millipore’s $1.3 billion Process Solutions business. Prior to that time, he served as president of the $1 billion Bioprocess Division of Millipore, and he at various times held senior roles within the company’s sales, marketing and supply chain functions. Mangeolle also served as vice president of worldwide operations for Mykrolis, a developer, manufacturer and supplier of liquid and gas delivery systems, components and consumables, which has since merged with Entegris.

Mangeolle holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Montpellier, France.
