Silicon Valley’s specialty foundry Noel Technologies promotes Brenda Hill to VP

Noel Technologies, a specialty foundry in Silicon Valley providing process development and substrate fabrication for a variety of high-technology industries, has promoted Brenda Hill to vice president of business development, marketing and sales.

In her new position, Hill’s responsibilities include defining Noel Technologies’ process offerings, identifying growth opportunities, planning capacity expansions, allocating resources, ensuring that each customer’s needs are met and coordinating with Noel’s engineering and production groups.

Hill, who has been at Noel since 2004, has extensive experience in product marketing in the global semiconductor industry. She has a track record in maximizing corporate growth and profits while serving a diverse range of customers across multiple market segments. Before joining Noel, Hill spent 11 years as director of marketing and sales at semiconductor manufacturer Sipex Corporation and, following a 1999 merger, Calogic Corporation. The companies design and produce ICs for applications including power management, serial interfaces and optical storage. Hill’s industry experience also includes more than a decade at Siliconix Inc., where she managed worldwide marketing activities for the company’s small-signal discrete devices.
