02/06/2006  Piscataway, NJ — IEEE has recently approved IEEE 1650, "Standard Test Methods for Measurement of Electrical Properties of Carbon Nanotubes," the first standard to establish a common metrics foundation for carbon nanotubes. IEEE 1650 recommends the necessary equipment and procedures to measure the low-level signals involved in working with nanotubes. It addresses electrical conductivity, Hall effect, and other critical electrical properties of nanotubes and basic nanotube devices.

In Q4, total revenue was $24.6 million, revenue for royalties and license fees totaled $17.7 million, and services revenue was $4.5 million. For the year, total revenue was $94.7 million, a 30% boost from 2004; royalties and license fees were $56.9 million, up 44%; and services revenue was $16.5 million, a 26% increase.
