Silicon Image names CTO

August 20, 2003 – Silicon Image, Sunnyvale, CA, a developer of high-bandwidth semiconductors and systems, has appointed Duane Northcutt as its new CTO. Northcutt, who had managed the company’s systems architecture group since 2002, was previously chief technologist for Sun Microsystems’ Desktop and Servers Group, and headed up a Sun research lab which developed the Sun Ray and Java Media APIs.
