STC releases new draft of OPENSTAR spec

July 17, 2003 – The Semiconductor Test Consortium has released the second draft of the specification for its Open Semiconductor Test Architecture (OPENSTAR).

The new draft of the platform, which is supported by more than 35 semiconductor, equipment, and instrumentation companies, covers hardware, software, and mechanical specifications.

The STC has also launched the first OPENSTAR tech support center in Santa Clara, with full deployment projected over the next few months.
