Motorola names semiconductor head

June 17, 2003 – Schaumburg, IL – Motorola Inc. has tabbed Scott Anderson to lead its semiconductor products sector starting July 1.

Anderson, a 25-year industry vet who currently heads up the company’s transportation and standard products group (TSPG), will replace outgoing semiconductor products president Fred Shlapak, who is retiring later this year.

Paul Grimme, currently corporate VP and GM of TSPG’s 8/16-bit product division, will move up to manage the division.
