Praxair, H.C. Starck to develop slurries

June 30, 2003 – Danbury, CT – Praxair, Danbury, CT,and H.C. Starck GmbH, an affiliate of Bayer AG, will develop, manufacture, and supply colloidal silica slurries for the CMP market. Praxair Electronics will market and sell the slurries.

Bayer produces colloidal silica under the brand name Levasil, and has the largest colloidal silica plant in Europe.
