Intel appoints Fellow

Jan. 31, 2002 – Santa Clara, CA – Intel Corp. has appointed Richard Grove to the company’s highest technical position, Intel Fellow.

Grove is director of compiler technology at the Intel Nashua Software Lab. He is responsible for leading engineering efforts for advanced compiler technology and optimization.

Grove received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics in 1964 and his master’s degree in mathematics in 1965 from the Carnegie Institute of Technology. He holds one patent and has published several papers on compiler technology.

Intel Fellows provide strategic technical guidance to the company and represent Intel on various industry technical panels. There are 41 Intel Fellows worldwide.
