SigmaTel files for stock offering

January 28, 2004 – SigmaTel Inc., Austin, TX, has filed with the SEC for a follow-on public offering of approximately 7.7 million shares of common stock, 250,000 are owned by the company, with an additional 1.15 million available for over-allotments. Details of pricing and the date of the offering were not disclosed.
