February 6, 2004 – ESEC, Cham, Switzerland, reported 4Q03 sales of 37.6 million euro, a 103% jump from 3Q03 and a 90.3% increase from a year ago. Bookings stand at 51.7 million euro, up 83% sequentially and 145% from 4Q02. The backlog stands at 30.0 million euro, up 74% from 3Q and a 176% increase year-on-year.
For all of 2003, the company reported sales of 105.3 million euro, compared with 95.7 million euro in 2002, with a 27.4% increase in bookings.
The jump in bookings and sales was attributed to “improved business activities in the die bonding area.” The company will report full 2003 financials on March 23.
