The VMMK-1225 supports 0.5 to 26.5 GHz frequency ranges with a noise figure of less than 0.95 dB and 12 dB available gain under 50 ohms conditions at 12 GHz. The FET also offers 23 dBm output third-order intercept and 8 dBm output power. The VMMK-1218 operates from 0.5 to 18 GHz with a noise figure of less than 0.85 dB and 9 dB available gain under 50 ohms conditions at 10 GHz. The FET also offers 22 dBm output third-order intercept and 12 dBm output power.
April 7, 2008 (San Jose, CA) — Xilinx, Inc., provider of programmable solutions and field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) for the aerospace and defense industry introduced a reprogrammable, radiation-tolerant Virtex-4QV family optimized for high-performance logic, DSP, and embedded processing. It is reportedly the first FPGA solution for space applications to offer multiple platforms optimized to meet stringent high-performance processing needs of video, audio, radar streams, and packet processing functions.
