Panasonic Expands Semiconductor Assembly/Test Capacity

(February 10, 2006) Osaka, Japan &#8212 Panasonic will invest approximately $150 million for a new building and equipment to expand its semiconductor assembly and test capacity in Singapore. Adjacent to its existing plant, the new building for Panasonic Semiconductor Asia Pte Ltd. (PSCA) is slated for completion by the end of 2006. PSCA is also considering another new building over the next 5 years to further expand its assembly and test facilities.
