Intended for a Shinko 12-mm package size, the high-performance BGA ZIF socket for 0.4mm pitch BGA operates at bandwidths up to 10 GHz with reportedly less than 1dB of insertion loss. The socket is designed to dissipate up to several watts without additional heatsinking, and can handle up to 100 watts with custom heatsink.
