(May 20, 2005) San Jose, Calif. — North American-based manufacturers of semiconductor equipment, on a three-month average, posted $1.00 billion in orders in April 2005 and a book-to-bill ratio of 0.80, according to SEMI’s April 2005 Book-to-Bill Report, which reveals that $80 worth of orders were received for every $100 of product billed for the month of April.
