Isensix deploys wireless environmental monitoring for blood, pharmaceuticals

OCT. 6–SAN DIEGO, Calif–Isensix, Inc., a provider of wireless monitoring systems for medical facilities, clinical laboratories and blood banks, has announced an initial deployment of its technology to nationwide locations.

With its monitoring, alarming and reporting ability, Isensix allows medical professionals to monitor the temperature and environment of sensitive life-saving elements including blood and medication, continuously and from remote locations.

“Devastating losses to blood banks happen too often in this country and massive amounts of blood have to be disposed,” said William Son, president of Isensix. “The Isensix wireless remote monitoring system eliminates the danger of losing precious inventories of blood,
vaccines, research samples and other vital medical supplies by providing environmental monitoring via simple installation of wireless sensors, and with up to 30 years of data retention. This technology will enable medical facilities of all kinds to not just save time and money, but to also save lives.”

Isensix has developed a wireless remote monitoring system that has been government and hospital approved, and has been implemented in Children’s Hospital San Diego, UCLA Medical Center, National Genetics Institute and other top-tier healthcare facilities.
This patent-pending wireless monitoring and control system provides24/7 real-time remote alerts, and has multi-redundancy and auto-reporting capabilities.
