Pacific Scientific Instruments to acquire Anatel

JULY 31–GRANTS PASS, OR–Pacific Scientific Instruments, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Danaher Corp. and manufacturer of particle counters and systems for air, liquid, and vacuum applications, is reportedly in the early phases of acquiring Anatel Corp. (Loveland, CO), a designer and manufacturer of analytical instrumentation.

Calls placed to Anatel by CleanRooms were not returned, and Helen Tsao Szewc, a spokesperson for Pacific Scientific, declined to discuss the details of the transaction.

Tsao Szewc did say, however, that company officials believe unveiling the details of the acquisition would be “premature.”

“There are still processes underway,” she adds. “A formal announcement is expected sometime during the last quarter.”
