September 17, 2001 — BERKELEY, CA — Electrostatic management solutions-provider Ion Systems, Inc. recently announced that it has partnered with Marketech International Corporation, a provider of turnkey solutions for high-tech manufacturing facilities.

The partnership with Marketech will allow Ion to deliver its electrostatics management solutions in a turnkey approach to customers in greater China. Electrostatics management is a critical element in manufacturing advanced electronic devices. Additionally, the opening of an Ion office in Taipei, Taiwan will enable the company to leverage its resources in mainland China, as well as Taiwan in order to be more accessible to customers in this region.
