Cintas Donates to Recovery Efforts

September 19, 2001 — NEWARK, NJ — Cleanroom services-provider Cintas is among the many businesses across the country that is donating services to help relief efforts at the World Trade Center.

“Our hearts go out to the victims of this terrible attack on America, their families and friends,” said Richard T. Farmer, chairman and founder of Cintas. “Everyone is our company has expressed a desire to help the nation’s recovery efforts, and we are proud to support the relief efforts in any way we can.”

The company has donated $400,000 worth of industrial workwear, including coveralls and workboots, for rescue workers at the site of the September 11 terrorist attacks in New York. Cintas, which is also an uniform industry giant, has donated medical supplies from its Xpect First Aid Division and has begun a company-wide fundraising effort.

Workers at the company’s Irvington, NJ facility are delivering the donated goods.
