Filtertek opens medical device cleanroom

HEBRON, Ill. – Filter and technical molded-component manufacturer Filtertek (www.filtertek.com) has opened a new 1,700-square-foot medical manufacturing cleanroom at its Filtertek de Mexico facility in Juarez.

The company’s filtration solutions are designed for use in the automotive, medical and commercial markets. It specializes in designing innovative filtration and fluid-control solutions.


A new cleanroom at Filtertek’s plant in Juarez, Mexico, will be dedicated to manufacturing molded components and filtration devices for medical procedures.

Filtertek de Mexico’s capabilities include horizontal, vertical, and two-shot molding and component assembly. The new Class 100,000 [ISO Class 8] manufacturing cleanroom will assemble such products as molded components and filtration devices used for blood transfusion and cardiac bypass surgery.
