Extraction Systems, Inc. has introduced the VaporSense air pollutant sensor/ damper control system. The system is designed to track changes in the concentration of gaseous pollutants in outdoor air, and temporarily close makeup air dampers when pollutant levels exceed acceptable limits. The temporary closing of outside air dampers prevents filter saturation caused by higher than normal pollutant levels, reduces odor complaints, protects overall indoor air quality, and extends the expected filter service life. It is ideal for use with HVAC systems, and is weather-proof, self-contained and automatic.
