Wipers

A new wiper with “Chamois-like” qualities not found in conventional wipers made from nylon or polyester fabric has been introduced by Coventry Clean Room Products.

The cleanroom Chamois is constructed of microfibers to thoroughly remove solvent and contami nants from cleanroom surfaces. It can be relaundered and reused an average of 10 times without any significant reduction in performance. Contaminated waste can be educed by 20-30 percent, reducing disposal costs. It acts as a filter to entrap and remove micro-contamination from the cleanroom because its ultra-fine microfibers are closely packed within the wiper to increase the amount of “micro-spaces” that trap particles and solvent.

It will not produce fibers during use or relaundering, has low, non-volatile, residue (NVR), and is manufactured with ultrasonically sealed edges to ensure low particles levels.
