Labconco offers the Guardian Air Monitor, an accessory to nonexplosion-proof Protector Laboratory Hoods. It`s also available for nonexplosion-proof Fiberglass 28 and Basic 47 Hoods.

The Guardian Air Monitor features a face velocity indicator, which displays airflow operating ranges with colored lights. An air sensor, located in the exhaust duct, detects a combination of static pressure and velocity. The face velocity indicator receives measurements from this sensor and displays them with colored lights. The operator may select any setpoint between 80 and 125 fpm face velocity.
